The Inner Light Center symbol is an eight pointed crystalline star. It announces the New Age of Spirit, raises energy into the next Octave of Light, and holds the pure light frequency of Love, Light, Harmony and Peace that it radiates out to all. The upright cross represents the Tree with roots firmly planted in the earth, upper branches reaching to the Divine Source, and side branches reaching out with the power of loving kindness. The X cross represents the Divine Marriage of Love and Wisdom, and celebrates unity. The heart of the star represents the birth of the Divine Inner Light in every heart. The three circles represent the radiant power, and protective field of Light. |
Prayer Counseling Interns
What is Prayer Counseling? Prayer Counseling is a form of healing work that can lead to physical, mental, spiritual and emotional lifting, manifestation and empowerment. Prayer Counseling is accomplished through prayer work – Prayer Treatments. A counseling session involves clarifying the client’s intentions, needs or desires; aligning with the Holy Spirit; standing in our place of power; using the power of the spoken word and opening to let Spirit work to manifest our prayers and dreams. In addition to prayer the Prayer Counselor may also use directed visualization, guided meditation and affirmations. A client can expect to feel accepted, supported, nurtured, affirmed, blessed and encouraged on a deeply spiritual and personal level. What is a Prayer Counselor? A Prayer Counselor is a person who has dedicated his/her time, energy and training to the service of others through the use of prayer in a client-centered format. A Prayer Counselor considers the professional relationship with the client as one of trust and confidentiality. A Prayer Counseling Intern has completed 45 or more credit hours (450 class hours) of ILI spiritual education requirements, including prayer counseling. This is a real opportunity to schedule an appointment with one of our Prayer Counseling Interns listed below. Please call or speak with them after Sunday Celebration.
Colleen Nerdin I have been consciously exploring my path of spirituality since 1988, a path that led me to the Inner Light Center community in 1992. I am currently serving as the ILC Business Administrator; caring for the daily secular business of the Center (my left-brained work). In addition, I am pursuing a Bachelor of Ministerial Studies degree through the Inner Light Institute (my right-brained work). My life is one of joyously balancing these two aspects of my life within the framework of my relationship with my wonderful, loving husband, Ned, my two beautiful married daughters, caring sons-in-law and seven amazing grandchildren. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as a Prayer Counseling Intern. I have come to understand the power of the spoken word through prayer and look forward to working with you to use this power to support you in manifesting your dreams and desires. As above, so below. As within, so without. (Colleen can be reached at 566-8343) Peace be with you. Colleen Colleen will be receiving her Minister's License on January 27th
