Up
Wisdom of a child

The Inner Light Center symbol is an eight pointed crystalline star. It announces the New Age of Spirit, raises energy into the next Octave of Light, and holds the pure light frequency of Love, Light, Harmony and Peace that it radiates out to all.

The upright cross represents the Tree with roots firmly planted in the earth, upper branches reaching to the Divine Source, and side branches reaching out with the power of loving kindness.

The X cross represents the Divine Marriage of Love and Wisdom, and celebrates unity.

The heart of the star represents the birth of the Divine Inner Light in every heart. The three circles represent the radiant power, and protective field of Light.

When we are one, seen through the eyes of a child...we will perpetuate this song of Love.

We are excited to inform you all about the new children's church.
With the help and energy of those involved we were able to create room to have the children in different age appropriate groups.  Our vision for the children to have their own special space with nurturing teachers to guide and support their spiritual growth has been manifested.

 Inner Light Kidz    3-7 years

Inner Light Tweens    8-12 years

Teen Light Night     13-17+years (Begins May 3rd)

This transition will begin March 18th

We are so grateful for all the beautiful changes and
growth happening with the Children's Church.

Thank you to all involved!

Glory Nelson    Children’s Church Coordinator

"My name is Glory Nelson, I am the Children's Church Coordinator.  We have four wonderful teachers, who teach one Sunday every  month.  We teach children ranging from ages 3-10.  We follow the monthly themes that the adults work on for Sunday Celebrations.

I teach once a month, and I have noticed that our beautiful light children have a safe place to express and learn our same lessons but in a much simpler way.  These children leave Sundays with an extra Spiritual tool.  I have found that they are truly inspired and that they are truly my teachers."

Some of our teachers include: Robbin Simmons, Alexandra Rojo, and Danell Cuevas.

Here is a Format/Outline of our Sunday Celebrations

1.  Welcome the children

2.  Check-In  (5 minutes)
Round One:  Share name and a word that tells how they are feeling.
Round Two:  Share one thing they want to tell the group about the past week.
Round Three:  (Optional) Share a response to the above.

3.  Centering Meditation (Short - 30 seconds-2 minutes depending on the age of the group)  Invite the children to close their eyes, get still and quiet.  Imagine a quiet, beautiful, peaceful place or thing that is filled with love and light.  Suggestions:  by a lake or pond, in a meadow of wild flowers, under a rainbow, in their own special place.  Be still and listen to the silence within.

4.  Sing one of the songs for that month.

5.Story/Lesson and discussion (5-10 minutes)
This can be focused on values, seasons, holidays or monthly ILC themes.

6.  Lesson related activity-Art, Movement, Song, etc. (15-20 minutes)

7.  Journal writing (5 minutes)  regulars will have their own journal in classroom. For newcomers you can give them a piece of paper they can take home.  For ones who can’t write yet, the teacher may write a few lines the child may want to share about what they learned today, or any feelings the may be having. The journals will have the date on it and it will be given to parents or guardians at the end of every year.

8.  Lesson related meditation (Longer than #3, if possible)

9.   Sing second song for the month.  (We will have a mini concert every two months in the sanctuary for the adults.)

10.  Group sharing about the lesson, activity and meditation.  (5 minutes)

11.  Closing:  Hold hands and stand in a circle for thanksgiving and sending light to the world.

 12.  Join the adults in the Sanctuary when the timing is right.

Living Higher Dimensions of Consciousness

The year 2008
Twenty Eight/Ten/One Year 2008 = 20 +08 = 28/10/1

Awakening - A Birth of Unity

This is a year of unified joyous vision and owning the knowledge that we are all instruments for Spirit, this year of Twenty – Eight – Ten – One vibration endows us with great personal and collective power.  It is imperative that we stand as one birthing our highest ideals and manifesting them in the world.  It is a time of strength and compassion toward oneself and all others embracing the courage of our convictions, and the courage to be true to Self.  Through unified alignment we invite balance and integration, a coming together with all that is, and being in the flow through harmonic resonance.
