Awareness

 "Being aware of yourself and of your actions, being aware of how those actions affect other people, being aware of the people around you and how THEY act, how they live. Awareness.... TRUE awareness.... leads to understanding, and that is what the world needs so desperately. For people to become AWARE of what is going on in the world, to become AWARE of how UNAWARE they truly are, and to UNDERSTAND how much hurt they are causing by their unawareness."

 Wow…you have hit upon a topic that has come full circle in my life...  AWARENESS!  How our actions, words, and thoughts, affect other people.  Those immediately connected to us as well as those in the outer edges of our relationships.  I don’t think that I can add any more to what you have said but maybe put it in a little different perspective.  As we become aware of our lives and how we affect others, we must learn to live, as Carlos Castaneda calls it, impeccably.

 But, how do we live a life impeccably?  We must go within and ask ourselves, “will these actions, thoughts or words hurt anyone”?   It is something that we have to look at beyond our own personal, “how will this make me feel” type of attitude.  In relation to that, as the consciousness of humanity is changing, we have to look beyond our “small” world and see the bigger picture.  How will my actions, thoughts, words, affect the universe?  How will my limited thinking affect those around me?  Once we ask ourselves that, can we enlarge it?  Can we ask how our thoughts, beliefs, actions, words, affect the Universe?

 We ALL really do need to become AWARE of how we affect the UNIVERSE.  I believe it is possible that many of us sometimes sit in our little myopic corner of life and are not truly aware of how we affect the Universe.  Once we lift ourselves to the DIVINE and begin to live a life in a higher consciousness, we are able to lift those around us and through that uplifting life we do lift the Universe.  As we become aware of how we affect the Universe, we begin to understand more fully that we truly are all ONE and we can begin to attain…at one ment.
